What happened to April?

Ok. So I might be the worst blogger ever. Almost two months have gone by since I last updated Riley's blog. I'm really not sure what happened to the month of April this year; I think mine was "stolen."

So what's new with Riley-man? Well, A LOT! He's walking now and is developing quite an independent streak. He's learning his body parts and can - when in a cooperative spirit - show you his nose and his head and occasionally get his ears. He waves bye-bye, can blow kisses, can "Patty Cake," and has recently started growling (not one we taught him!). He's got four teeth now and still loves everything but lima beans. Some of his favorites are strawberries, bananas, fish, chicken, and green beans.

He's not partial to any of his toys - he loves anything that makes noise or moves. He loves music and has started trying to "dance" a little. He enjoys a good book and still loves his swing. He's definitely an outside boy!

We continue to be amazed by his sweet spirit and feel so undeserving of such a blessing.
