Bob the Tomato

I found it! After several hours of searching the vast World Wide Web - we have a Bob the Tomato costume for Riley! Jeff and I were way more excited than Riley about the initial introduction, which resulted in tears. Riley has warmed up to the tomato, however, and now likes to wear him around the house. To the left, he and Jeff are reading Wheels on the Bus, a favorite read for our little guy. We're still working up to the green topper but we will have Bob the Tomato for Halloween. 

As for Riley's first real Halloween - he has quite a week in store. We may try to visit the MSU campus for some trick or treating on Sorority Row Tuesday.  We'll celebrate with friends at church for Trunk R Treat Wednesday, and then Thursday is his party at school. I doubt we venture past the block on Friday, but we do have some special neighbors that we'll take Riley to visit. Quite a week!
