How 'bout?

Another Riley-ism...

Riley loves Veggie Tales! He gets so excited when we turn them on for him and will ask to watch them from time to time ("a Bob?"). I found a Veggie Tales Bible story book that has depictions from the television shows in a condensed format. There are pictures of the characters from the shows, and he recognizes the characters. For instance, he says "Miriam" and "Boses" when he sees the pictures from that story. Well, when we're flipping through it, I'll ask "How about..." and find one to read him. The other night, he was sitting in the floor looking at the book and would turn a few pages and say "How 'bout?" and then name the characters from the story he had found.

Riley is going through a bit of a hat phase - this is one of his favorites. He found this great one at Meems and Peeps' house over Christmas and, of course, they brought it for him on their last trip to visit. He loves it and when I tell him he needs to put a hat on, it's the one he goes for. He actually tried to wear it to church one Sunday!

I can't believe we're about to celebrate his second birthday (March 31)! It's gone by entirely too fast...
