Fun in the Sun!

Riley visited the beach for the first time this week! He seemed to enjoy it but wasn't quite able to stand in the surf alone. He was fascinated by the sand and would have probably been content to just play in the sand without ever getting in the water.

Jeff took him out into the waves a bit further and then spotted some jellyfish. Riley spent the rest of the time in my lap squealing as the waves came up on us. We went late in the afternoon so it wasn't so hot and only stayed about an hour. 

A good first trip - I'm sure the next trip he'll be much more active!
